His first major victory came in the Malibu Stakes (Grade I) at Santa Anita in December last year, where he outran six rivals by 11-1/2 lengths.

Due to a minor hock ailment, he was unable to participate in the Grade II San Carlos Stakes at Santa Anita in March. The good news is that the X-rays are negative, as his trainer John Sadler assured reporters at the time. […] He won’t be participating at the San Carlos. However, it’s not a big deal. The Good Life

Christopher Jack

The three-year-old Jack Christopher graduated in a field of eight at Saratoga last August with a strong 8-3/4 length lead. He is a son of Munnings and Rushin No Blushin (by Half Ours). He won his subsequent three races, giving him a career-best total of four victories in four contests, just like Flightline.

These contests included the Grade I Champagne Stakes in October at Belmont Park, the Grade II Pat Day Mile Stakes in May at Churchill Downs, and the Grade I Woody Stephens Stakes earlier this month at Belmont. He triumphed in the last race by a margin of ten lengths over the runner-up.

Castleton Lyons & Kilboy Estate produced Jack Christopher. He is now being trained by legendary Breeders’ Cup trainer Chad C. Brown for owners Jim Bakke, Gerald Isbister, Coolmore Stud, and Peter M. Brant.

Country slang

Country Grammer has put in some impressive performances, like winning the Dubai World Cup, but he doesn’t have an infinite string of victories to brag about (beating Hot Rod Charlie and Life Is Good, among others).

This five-year-old boy, a product of Forestry’s Arabian Song and Tonalist, earned money in seven of his ten career starts and took home four victories.

He won the Dubai World Cup (Grade I) at Meydan Racecourse this past March after breaking his maiden at Santa Anita in November 2019, the Hollywood Gold Cup Stakes (Grade I) at Santa Anita in May 2021, and the Peter Pan Stakes (Grade III) at Saratoga in July 2020.

Scott Pierce and Debbie Pierce are the creators of country summer. For his owners, Commonwealth Thoroughbreds, LLC, Winstar Farm LLC, and Zedan Racing Stables, Inc., he is trained by Racing Museum Hall of Famer Bob Baffert.

Best Bets for the 2022 Breeders’ Cup Classic

Early Voting can produce some value at + 1600. Three of his four career starts were victories for this dark bay colt, age 3, by Gun Runner and Amour d’Ete (by Tiznow).

Then, in the Wood Memorial Stakes (Grade II) at Aqueduct, he was beaten out of first place (by a neck) by Mo Donegal. In May, he recovered by winning the Preakness Stakes (Grade I) at Pimlico.

This three-year-old progeny of Wasted Time and Quality Road (by Najran) triumphed in all three of his starts. Corniche won the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (Grade I) at Del Mar in November after breaking his maiden at Del Mar in September of the previous year. In October, he also won the American Pharoah Stakes (Grade I) at Santa Anita.

Despite this, Corniche has continued to train hard this year, and he and Baffert may have some surprises in store for us in November. He is a good value bet for a show ticket, according to his longshot (+2500) chances.
